About Your Photographer.

Neva Sorkin is an acknowledged Russian-Canadian photographer, cinematographer and independent film director. She started her photographer career back in 2003 in Moscow where she participated in bunch exhibitions and shot mostly commercial photography.


Later she moved to Toronto, Canada to study film and scene lightning at “Toronto Film Works”. At that time her photography stile involved mostly event and portrait photography and framed into unique style.

In 2007 she arrived to Vancouver, BC to study at Capilano University (Cinematography for Film and Video) and continue her photography career as a creative portraitist, corporate and family photographer. This period added a lot of actor and modeling headshots in her portfolio.


Since that time her photos were displayed at several international exhibitions, printed in Vancouver Sun and other publications. She became an official photographer of Vancouver only brass orchestra “Slivovica” and participated in a few Vancouver festivals. At the same she wrote and directed two short films “The missing me” and “Bar Paradise” which were shown at the Toronto Film Festival.


These days Neva works as a full-time freelance photographer and provides her clients with exclusive and exceptional portraits, headshots, editorial pictures and event photography.
